Members now have free access
to online contents, abstracts and full text of papers published
in the journal International Musculoskeletal Medicine (IMM).
|
|
To access the content, please follow these instructions:
- Go to www.ingentaconnect.com/content/maney/imm,
which will take you to the individual journal home page on IngentaConnect.
The full list of available online issues [available from Volume
30, Number 1 (2008)] will be displayed.
- Click on the issue you wish to view. The full contents for
that issue will be displayed.
- Click on the article you wish to view.
- To access the full text, click on the 'PDF' box at the bottom
of the screen (you might need to scroll down to locate it).
You should now be able to view the article exactly as it appears
in the printed version, but with the additional benefits of live
reference-linking.
Please note that once you have accessed the relevant journal homepage
on IngentaConnect you do NOT need to insert username or password
details in the boxes on the right of the screen: these are provided
for other users of Ingenta to access content for which they hold
a subscription, but as a SOM member you do not have to include these
details since the access route set up from this link automatically
recognises you as a valid member. You therefore simply need to select
the issue number you want to view, then proceed to select your chosen
article in order to download it free of charge.
IMM is included in the CrossRef project for linked references:
readers can automatically follow live links from the reference list
of articles in the electronic version of each journal to the abstract
of the cited article, if that article is published online.
Please visit www.maney.co.uk/journals/imm
for further details and information on other features available,
including table of contents alerting.
In the event of problems or queries about accessing the
online content, please contact c.meadows@maney.co.uk
If you have problems with access to the full text
Some internet browsers are set up in such a way that they do not
pass on the URL information to the Ingenta service. This then means
that the Ingenta service does not recognise you as a member and
denies access to the full-text content. If you have difficulties
accessing the full text and the Ingenta system states that you are
not recognised as a subscriber, please try this test below to confirm
that the problem is related to your browser set-up:
Go to http://www.ingentaconnect.com/about/referer
If you then see a message stating ‘Your browser has
not sent a Referrer header’ please report the details
to your IT department or to Caitlin Meadows at Maney Publishing
(email: c.meadows@maney.co.uk)
