The Journal welcomes submissions relating to orthopaedic and musculoskeletal medicine, including manipulative and injection therapy and all types of physical treatment.
Please send your manuscript to one of the co-editors.

Both original research and review articles are welcome, as are unusual case reports and collections of several cases illustrating an interesting feature. Selection will be made according to the scientific rigour of the writing, and the potential practical use of the information.

Manuscript
It is helpful to have a Summary or Abstract at the start of the piece. Scientific investigations are best organised in the usual order: Introduction, Materials and Methods (identify statistical methods used) Results, and Discussion.

After acceptance, it will assist the publishers if the manuscript including tables and diagrams are made available in electronic format. E-mail to the editor is the most convenient transmission.

Illustrations
If electronic format (by e-mail, CD-rom or floppy disc) is not available, black and white glossy prints are the ideal format for photographs used in illustrations. Size is not important, as it will be changed by the printers.

The format preferred is the Vancouver style (as used in the British Medical Journal): Author(s) (separated by commas but no stops or commas between name and initial). Title of paper/book. Journal, Year; Volume: Pages (start-end). If a book, add Edition, Place published, Publisher.
