Tips for Hips – diagnosis and treatment of hip and groin injuries
SOM’s 2011 conference took place on Saturday 5 March 2011 at Chancellor’s Hall in Manchester. It was a brilliant day, selling out with 120 delegates attending.
Programme highlights included:
- Diagnostic ultrasound in hip and groin injuries
- A systematic approach to hip and groin problems
- Management of sports hip injuries
- Rehabilitation of groin pain in athletes
- Breakout sessions covering all of the above, plus:
- Hip joint injection: exploring best practice
- Assessment of muscle control around the hip
- An evidence base of which and what medications to use in acute and chronic back pain
